Two ESI Staffs, Professor Ang Beng Wah and Dr Su Bin, are named in the 2023 Highly Cited Researchers Report published by Clarivate Analytics. The annual list of Highly Cited Researchers acknowledges researchers with multiple papers ranking in the top one per cent by citations for their field and year. They are selected for their exceptional performance in one or more of 21 fields of the sciences and social sciences. This year, 7,127 researcher awards (issued to 6,849 individuals) from 67 countries and regions were announced – 3,793 in specific fields and 3,332 for cross-field impact. Prof Ang is named in the “Cross-field” which list 3,332 researchers, and Dr Su is named in the “Economics and Business” field which lists 86 researchers. They were also named in the 2018 Report, 2019 Report, 2020 Report, 2021 Report and 2022 Report.
