ENERGY TRANSITION STRATEGIES SURVEY

Our energy sector plays a key role in supporting Singapore’s economy and Singaporeans’ lifestyle. It needs to be resilient to maintain energy security and reliability, and be competitive to deliver fairly priced energy to consumers. With the climate imperative, there is a stronger than ever need to be sustainable to contribute to Singapore’s net-zero emission goal. Singapore has developed and announced strategies for the energy transition. As Singapore implements these plans, it will become more salient that balancing the energy trilemma is difficult and may entail trade-offs and downstream challenges.

The Energy Studies Institute (ESI) at the National University of Singapore (NUS) initiates this survey to gather valuable insights into Singapore’s energy transition strategies and the opportunities and challenges as we implement these plans. Your participation in this survey will contribute to the research efforts focused on enhancing the pertinence and effectiveness of energy transition strategies in Singapore.

Our Goals For This Survey
1. Gain valuable insights into the current strategies addressing energy transition.
2. Provide a timely snapshot of the priorities surrounding these issues.
3. Contribute to research efforts focused on enhancing energy transition efficiency and identifying potential blind spots in existing strategies.
