ESI Workshop on Hydrogen
Hydrogen Economy: Current Landscape, Opportunities, Challenges,
and the Way Forward

Tuesday, 25 November to Wednesday, 26 November 2025

Orchard Rendezvous Hotel Singapore, Antica I, Level 2

The workshop aims to deepen understanding of the global landscape of the hydrogen economy and to identify key actions required to move it forward. It begins with an overview of recent developments and market trends to establish the current state of play and highlight emerging opportunities and barriers. The technical and safety challenges associated with developing a hydrogen supply chain, along with ongoing efforts to address them, will then be explored. Finally, the role of policy in developing and shaping the hydrogen economy, as well as the lessons learned from past experience, will be discussed.
