RESEARCH FELLOWS
Son Minhee holds a PhD in Energy and Environmental Policy and Technology from the Graduate School of Energy and Environment (Green School), Korea University, where she also completed her master’s degree. Her doctoral research focused on the environmental profile and cost-benefit analysis of end-of-life management for photovoltaic (PV) waste in South Korea. During her academic journey, she participated in various policy research projects, cost-benefit analyses, and life cycle assessments (LCA) related to renewable energy and environmental technologies.
Currently a Research Fellow at the Energy Studies Institute, National University of Singapore, Minhee explores low-carbon strategies in countries surrounding Singapore and participates in various carbon accounting projects. She is particularly interested in exploring strategies to reduce carbon emissions through the adoption of renewable energy and emerging technologies, while also researching national policies aimed at achieving carbon neutrality. Additionally, she conducts carbon accounting research across various sectors, including renewable energy systems, using LCA methodologies.
