RESEARCH ASSOCIATES
Mr Hoy Zheng Xuan (Nicholas) joined the Energy Studies Institute in December 2023 as a Research Associate. Before joining ESI, Nicholas held positions as a Business Consultant at Ernst & Young and a Graduate Research Assistant at Xiamen University Malaysia.
Throughout his graduate studies, Nicholas focused on predictive analytics, emissions modeling, and waste management. His achievements include the publication of a research article in the prestigious journal Science, where he served as the first author. Notably, his research was featured on the cover page of the issue. Nicholas was invited as a guest on the Science podcast, where he shared insights and findings from his research.
Nicholas is an alumnus of Xiamen University Malaysia, holding both MPhil and BEng degrees in New Energy Science and Engineering.- Predictive Analytics
