Shirleen joined ESI as a Research Fellow in March 2024. She received her Ph.D. from Swinburne University of Technology (Sarawak Campus) in May 2023. Prior to pursuing her Ph.D., Shirleen completed her Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering from the same university in 2019. During her Ph.D. candidature, Shirleen was also engaged as a short-term Research Assistant for an Industrial Research Collaboration. Shirleen was working as a Process Engineer prior to joining ESI.  Her current role at ESI focuses on decarbonization strategies.
