RESEARCH FELLOWS
Li Hongyan is a Research Fellow at the Energy Studies Institute (ESI), having joined in July 2023 after previously working there as a student researcher. Her research primarily focuses on decarbonization, climate change mitigation, and policy evaluation. Currently, she is assessing the effectiveness of carbon pricing policies on a global scale, with the goal of informing policy implementation in countries that have not yet adopted carbon pricing or are in the early stages, including developing nations. She holds a Ph.D. in Economics from the National University of Singapore and a Bachelor's degree in Finance from Shandong University. Her work has been published in peer-reviewed journals, including the Journal of Economic Behavior & Organization.
