Jiaxin joined the Energy Studies Institute (ESI) in December 2024 as a Research Associate. Prior to this, she worked in a consultancy in Shanghai, supporting multinational enterprises entering China’s new energy market, and as a Business Analyst at a Chinese photovoltaic inverter manufacturer, gaining comprehensive project experience in solar systems, EVs, hydrogen energy, and battery reuse and recycling.

Jiaxin holds a bachelor's degree in Economics from Zhejiang University and later earned a master's degree in Philosophy of the Social Sciences from the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE). Her current research focuses on decarbonization and carbon neutrality strategies across key global economies.
