Youth Dialogue on Climate Change Education

Synopsis: Climate change is one of the most pervasive and threatening issues of our time. Given the increased focus on the need to respond to our changing climate, climate change education has become increasingly important in many countries and Singapore is no exception. This dialogue for youth and educators will be an opportunity to find innovative solutions to address climate change through education and youth-led action. The Guest-of-Honour is Mr Masagos Zulkifli, Minister for the Environment and Water Resources, Singapore. He will join a panel of speakers comprising:

- Assoc Prof Burton Ong, Member of the APCEL Exco and NUS Law
- Ms Elissa Goh, Head of Department (Humanities), Tanglin Secondary School
- Dr Tricia Seow, Assistant Head, Humanities & Social Studies Education (HSSE), National Institute of Education
- Ms Carol Yuen, Alumni of Environmental Law Students Association, NUS Law (ELSA) & NUS delegate to COP24
