Presenting New Evidence from ADB-MRIO at the International Input-Output Association Conference

On 30 June – 5 July 2019, Dr. Zhong Sheng, Research Fellow at ESI, participated in the 27th International Input-Output Association (IIOA) conference at the University of Strathclyde’s Technology & Innovation Centre in Glasgow, Scotland. The conference was organized by the UK Office for National Statistics with support from the Glasgow Convention Bureau. Dr. Zhong Sheng gave a presentation titled “Decomposing Domestic Value Added of Final Products: New Evidence from the ADB-MRIO.”

The conference covered various topics such as the construction of input-output data, input-output applications of global value chains, environmentally extended input-output analysis and so on. Participants included postgraduate students, academic researchers, international policy experts, and statistical officers from national governments and international organizations such as the United Nations, the European Commission and the OECD.
