NUS Showcase at Asia Pacific Climate Week in Singapore

The Energy Studies Institute, together with the NUS Office of Environmental Sustainability and Environmental Law Students Association at NUS Law was awarded a slot to showcase the National University of Singapore’s sustainability-related research and efforts at the Asia Pacific Climate Week (APCW) 2018 Knowledge Corner on 12 July 2018.

The showcase featured ESI Policy Briefs and Bulletins, NUS SustainAble efforts and a commentary on Singapore’s Carbon Pricing Bill by the Environmental Law Students Association at NUS Law.

APCW 2018 is an umbrella for a series of climate-related events focused on Nationally Determined Contribution (NDC) implementation challenges and opportunities, the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and global climate action. APCW 2018 is organized by the UNFCCC Secretariat under the Nairobi Framework Partnership (NFP), in partnership with the UN Development Programme (UNDP), UN Environment Programme Partnership with the Technical University of Denmark (UNEP-DTU), the World Bank, the Asian Development Bank (ADB) and others.
