Participation in Energy Efficiency Global Forum 2018

On 21rd May, Dr LIU Yang, Senior Research Fellow at ESI, participated in Energy Efficiency (EE) Global Forum 2018 held in Copenhagen. He was invited as a panellist in the intensive learning session “Opportunities for International Collaboration to Expand China’s Energy Efficiency Market”.  He presented on “Pathways for energy efficiency: China’s experience and implications for ASEAN”.  The other panellists are Mr. Dai Yande, Professor and Former Director General of Energy Research Institute, China National Development and Reform Commission, Mr. Benoit Lebot, Executive Director of International Partnership for Energy Efficiency Cooperation (IPEEC), Mr. Luo Rui, Deputy Head of Clean Energy Ministerial Secretariat, and Mr. Sun Xiaoliang, Secretary General of the ESCO Committee of China Energy Conservation Association.

EE Global is the energy efficiency elite’s gathering place – the one event that draws together business executives, government leaders and advocates from across sectors and continents for actionable dialogues on advancing energy efficiency. This year’s Forum was co-organized by the Alliance to Save Energy and the Copenhagen Centre on Energy Efficiency, with the support of the Danish Ministry of Foreign Affairs. This event highlighted how to speed transfer of leading energy efficiency practices to the cities and countries of the developing world towards the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
