Channel NewsAsia’s The Pulse Podcast on Singapore’s Carbon Tax

On 23 February, following the Budget 2018 speech by Minister of Finance Heng Swee Keat on Singapore’s carbon tax being set at S$5 per tonne of carbon dioxide equivalent, ESI Research Fellow Ms. Melissa Low was invited to share views on the announcement on Channel NewsAsia’s weekly podcast “The Pulse”. The show was hosted by Ms. Bharati Jagdish and Melissa was joined by Channel NewsAsia Digital News' Chief Editor Mr. Jaime Ho. They discussed the carbon tax’s likely impact on the behavior of corporations and consumers.
