Meeting with Nuclear Academics in 2017
On 30th June 2017, six members of the project team hosted an informal
lunch meeting with seven academics from East Asia and beyond working on
nuclear governance who were attending a conference hosted by the Lee
Kuan Yew School of Public Policy.
Our guests were:
- Professor Hideaki Shiroyama, Professor Taketoshi Taniguchi and Dr
Shunsaku Komatsukazi, all of the University of Tokyo;
- Ms Shoko Tanaka of the Japan Forum on International Relations,
Tokyo;
- Dr Yue Go, of the Harvard Belfer School;
- Mr Yuming Wei of Tsinghua University, Beijing;
- Ms Duygu Sever- Mehmetoğlu of Koç University, Istanbul.
The meeting provided an opportunity to learn about each other’s
research agendas and laid the ground for future cooperation.
