At the 83rd ISEAS Energy Forum lecture jointly organized by the Energy Studies Institute (ESI) and ISEAS held on 24 January 2008, Mr. Puah gave an overview of the Singapore National Energy Policy, which had been released in November 2007. The report had identified the constituent parts of Singapore’s energy policy (the 3 E’s): economics, environment and energy security, as well the main features of the changing energy landscape: economic competitiveness, energy security, environment/climate change and new opportunities.
