Abstract
Mr Aad van Bohemen will speak on the International Energy Agency’s World Energy Outlook 2007, focusing on China and India. The implications of Asia’s economic growth in terms of energy demand are enormous. Some analysts say that the oil demand estimates for 2030 are still too low. He will also discuss emergency preparedness, particularly emergency preparedness in Asia and possible harmonisation of actions between the IEA and Asian countries.
