The Energy Studies Institute aims to create a vibrant environment in which energy-related issues of interest to Singapore are regularly discussed and debated. The purpose is to facilitate the exchange of knowledge and expertise straddling the economic, environmental, security, sociological and technological aspects of energy so that a multi-faceted approach is taken in addressing issues of interest. ESI is pleased to partner Shell and the National Library Board in bringing about 30 guests from the energy industry, research institutes, academia and government agencies to participate in the ESI-Shell Energy Dialogue. The theme will be Towards a New Energy Future.
Shell will present “Economic Crisis, Energy Challenge: Towards a New Energy Future” while ESI will lend further insights and interest to the session through its presentation on “The Energy Landscape: Has the Cheese Moved?” These two presentations will set the stage for a dialogue that will include expert opinions, business perspectives and scientific expertise.
