About the Seminar
Microgrids, Distributed Generation, and Energy Poverty: Lessons from the US and Asia
David McLean (NextEnergy, Detroit) and Malavika Bambawale (LKY School, Singapore) will give informal talks on microgrids, distributed generation, and simple rural electrification. Joining them will be Anthony D'Agostino (LKY School) and Prof. Michael Quah (ESI), who will introduce the two guest speakers and partricipate in an informal roundtable with them to dicuss lessons that come from these technology systems innovations in uses that range from applications in the US military to rural villages in Asia.
