About the conference
The Energy Studies Institute (ESI) at the National University of Singapore (NUS) is delighted to present our international conference on “China-Middle East Political and Energy Relations” to be held in Singapore from 10 to 11 March 2011.
As China continues to search the globe to meet its enormous energy demand, this conference will focus on the Middle East, the single largest supplier of oil and liquefied natural gas to China. It will gather participants from academe, government, the private sector and the diplomatic corps. The speakers for this event will come from China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Singapore, the Middle East’s Arab and non-Arab states (Iran and Turkey), the United States, Russia and Europe.
