Ira Martina DRUPADY joined the Energy Studies Institute in June 2016 as a Research Associate for the Policy and Law for Nuclear Safety and Security project. Ira spent the previous three years consulting for Government of Australia aid programmes in Indonesia on climate change financing, forestry sector governance and green economy. Prior to that, she researched energy security governance issues for the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy, where she also received her Master in Public Policy in 2010. During this period, Ira co-authored the book, Energy Access, Poverty, and Development: The Governance of Small-Scale Renewable Energy in Developing Asia (Ashgate 2012). Ira previously worked for the Economist Intelligence Unit, Asia-Europe Foundation and BusinessWeek magazine. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree from the National University of Singapore in 2002.
